Bardibas Janata Multiple Campus was established with the active participation of local community including social workers, teachers, educationists, academics, and social organizations to deliver quality education within locally affordable cost for the western part of Mahottari district and its periphery districts. This is a community based non-profitable campus established in 2064 BS.
Despite its decade's long history, it has not been able to achieve destined outcomes.
Therefore, it is essential to achieve academic excellence for the institutional development of the campus. Hence, this strategic plan is here to move ahead for improving quality, relevance and efficiency of this campus.
This campus has been selected for Performance Based Funding under the Higher Education Reforms Project. According to the signed MoU, the campus has to prepare and submit the five years strategic plan. As the campus has already received the LOI acceptance letter from the UGC, now after completion of physical infrastructure, proper financial condition and staff management, we are working on SSR.
It is hoped that the strategic plan will be helpful to transfer the challenges of the campus into opportunities. The campus has been facing the financial, physical and institutional problems from the time of its establishment. The enrolment of the students is not satisfactory and pass out rate is average. The campus has initiated research activities by forming RMC. After awarding by LOI, the campus has managed digital library, library including sufficient reference books, screens, broad band Wi-Fi, desk and bench, presentations by students, research, and forming different rooms for different committees like IQAC, SAT, RMC, departments, staff rooms, account section, information desk and so on. Still, the campus needs more dynamism in making strategy to maintain it more effective function ability. The rationale of the strategic plan lies in solving these challenges and increasing academic performance.
